Text2Test has closed a $495,000 pre-seed round. The round was led by ARYA Women Investment Platform, with Yapay Zeka Fabrikası (YZF) joining as an investor and bringing its experience in the AI sector. Angel investors Özlem Eke Tümer, Sanem Tatlıdil and Selin Çelikel also took part.
What Text2Test does
Text2Test is an AI-powered software test automation platform founded in 2024 by Esin Yılmaz and Prof. Dr. Cemal Yılmaz. Teams write test scenarios in natural language, and Text2Test interprets them against the screens of the application under test, runs them and reports the results.
The aim is to open test automation to everyone involved in a product, including business analysts and domain experts, not only engineers who write test code. That lowers the cost of testing and raises product quality, in an area where a large share of software budgets goes to testing and quality assurance.
What the investment is for
The new funding will help Text2Test bring its technology to software teams in global markets.
Esin Yılmaz described the round as support for the company's goal of global leadership, and stressed that Text2Test treats testing as a dynamic, adaptive process that keeps up with changing systems rather than a one-time effort. Prof. Dr. Cemal Yılmaz said that applying academic research to real industry problems is what drives him, and that he expects Text2Test to make software teams' work easier and set new standards in the field.
