With Text2Test, you write test cases in plain text, the same way you would explain them to a teammate. There is no code to write, no selectors to hunt for, and no framework to set up. Our native model compiles your description into a deterministic test that runs the same way every time.
You also do not start from a blank page. Through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), Text2Test connects to the tools you already use, Figma, Jira, GitHub, and OpenAPI, and generates structured test cases from your designs, tickets, code, and API specs. Requirements you have already written become test coverage automatically.
A single test case can combine five step types: plain-text steps, script injection, an AI agent for complex reasoning-heavy flows, visual verification, and HTTP request assertions. This lets one test cover UI, API, and visual checks from end to end.
Text2Test executes tests on real browsers, not simulations. You group tests into plans that run on demand, on a schedule, or automatically from your CI/CD pipeline, and route failure alerts to the right team member. Binding a test to a data source runs the same test across many inputs at once.
Every test run produces complete evidence: a full replay video, a step-by-step timeline, a screenshot for each step, and full console and network logs. When a test fails, it explains itself, so teams spend their time fixing issues instead of diagnosing them. Nothing is inferred; every step captures what actually happened.
Text2Test is built for solo developers, technical founders, and product teams at SaaS companies who write test cases manually or with general-purpose AI tools today. It removes the need for a dedicated automation engineer while giving QA teams, product managers, and developers a shared, readable source of truth for how a product should behave.
We are a 15-member team collaborating across three countries on two continents. After years at established companies, we chose to build the testing tool we always wished we had, one that makes people's work easier.
